5/30/2023 0 Comments Catwoman rome![]() ![]() Sale first collaborated with writer Jeph Loeb on the 1991 Challengers of the Unknown miniseries, and they have reunited on a number of occasions since then, including on several Batman-related projects. He also drew several issues of Matt Wagner’s Grendel for Comico and the four issue political thriller Billi 99 written by Sarah Byam published by Dark Horse. Tim Sale’s earliest work in comic books was on an adaptation of the fantasy-adventure novels Thieves’ World published by Starblaze Graphics in 1985. The cover to the third issue demonstrates Sale & Stewart’s ability to render actual felines, as we see a black & white tuxedo cat with Selina Kyle’s eyes hovering overhead symbolically.
